We currently run a slightly ancient SBS2003 box and are about to upgrade both desktop machines and the server.
We're a small professional office, running mainly Exchange and Office programs, some AutoCAD, some photo work - but nothing too demanding. Most of the time there will be 6-8 users, occasionally up to 9 or 10.
Some remote access to emails and preferably to files on the server.
Server just ordered is a Dell T620 - possibly over-kill for what we need, but we got it at a very good price.

- 600 GB SAS 15K (x6)
- PERC H710
- 4GB Single Rank LV RDIMM 1333 (x4)
- Intel Ethernet I350 DP 1Gb
- 750W Hot Plug Power (x2)
- 16x DVD RW
Would really appreciate some advice on how best to configure the set up, particularly the hard drives, but any other suggestions would be very welcome.
