Installed SBS 2011 Standard in September of 2011. Remote Web Access and connection to computer has worked flawlessly until recently. I can logon to the Remote Web Access and can see my list of computers including the server. If I select a computer I am prompted for a userid and password. When I try logging in I revert back to the prompt for userid and password. No error messages are displayed.
If I try connecting thru the remote web access from a computer located on the local area network which is a domain computer the connection works as it should. If I try connecting from a computer on the local area network that is not a domain computer the connection to another computer fails. If I try connecting from a computer that is a not a domain computer, accessed from the internet, the connection to another computer fails. In all of these cases I can login to the remote web access.
All of these types of connections worked until about 2-3 months ago. First some of the connections to the computers stopped working. Eventually, a connection to the server also stopped working. No setting changes have been made on the router or the server.
I am thinking that possibly a SBS 2011 windows update may have changed something, thus blocking the access. Any thoughts on what would be blocking the connection?
