It's looking likely that I'll be reinstalling SBS 2008 for one of our new clients due to hard drive failure.
Unfortunately the client was not given the original SBS 2008 installation media by the company who set the server up for them. They do have the product key.
I have the Dell SBS 2008 installation media from our server - whilst I'm aware it's possible to get into WinRe mode with different manufacturer's media I'm not sure if it's possible to format and reinstall a server using a different manufacturer's media.
Is this likely to work or must the client obtain the original media somehow?
