I am seeking all default (out of the box) IIS site bindings for SBS 2011 Standard. This should include the site known as "Default Web Site" in addition to all of the other sites. Perhaps a screen capture from IIS with the Connections/Sites icon highlighted, which displays all the bindings in the center pane, will work nicely. Thanks.
Some glitch altered my settings as they were never intentionally modified. SharePoint was working great for over a year. The cause of this glitch is unknown. Internally SharePoint is working. Attempting to connect externally to SharePoint, a Windows authentication dialog is displayed instead of the default SharePoint log-on dialog. After authentication, I get 404 file not found. SSL is working, so it is a secure 404... Interesting!
It seems odd that these default settings are not published some where. I can't find them. It would be great if a detailed walk-through of each (out of the box) site's settings and purpose was published as well.
Are any native recovery tools available for SharePoint, other than the fix my network wizard?
Thanks,
Kurt
