'Updates' and 'Backup' complete, but 'Security' and 'Other Alerts' do not before it crashes. Here is the last few bits of the console log:

This is a clean install (not a migration), virtualized on a Server 2012 Hyper-V host. The problem cropped up about two weeks after the installation.
