Hi,
First of i run BPA a couple of times and fixed the issues, read the migration guide http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14570
and prep the source server, all whent OK
The Installation...
After my installation of sbs 2011 standard in migration mode it did crash at the very end (the installation dailog was completed and rebooted, so it was on the sbssetup.exe when loggon on that it crashed) so i got some nasty error message saying "The installation of Windows small business server 2011 standard cannot finish." Recommended action is to reinstall.. well thats not a option when my server is FSMO...
During the installation it halted on a CA certificate issue, but after some time it continued with error in log file. (did try to fix it by adding proper cert groups to the admin account)
When it rebooted the last time i could logon and a message displayed in the help section " How do i recover from a failed installation" and in the SBS console this is displayed.
1. The web certificates for Remote web access cannot be created
2. The installation of Windows small business server 2011 standard cannot finish.
i Tried to Dismiss the 1. but the 2. is still there.. so what should i do?
