Hi everyone,
I'm currently working through a SBS 2003 - SBS 2011 migration. Everything has gone smoothly up to the point where I ran the Internet Address Management wizard yesterday, which failed reporting 'The wizard cannot configure exchange email for your domain. To correct this problem run the fix my network task....etc.'
The remote web access site configured successfully, the router has port forwarding correctly configured (tested) although uPNP is not enabled.
Repeated running of fncw.exe has failed to make any difference despite persistently diagnosing a problem with the SMTP connectors which it fails to resolve. This 'problem' appears on other SBS2011 installs I have checked for reference, both migrated and clean installs. I've recreated the SBS receive connectors as well as a 'default' receive connector which is subsequently removed by a re-run of FNCW.exe. I'm not convinced that running the fix my network task is able to resolve the problem i'm experiencing. My feeling is that the missing default receive connector has something to do with the problem but why's it missing? Correct me if i'm wrong here.
A BPA scan lists several warnings two of which, 'CAS Host does not match' & 'EWS Host does not match' make reference to these host names not matching that set by the IAM wizard.
I'm reluctant to start making untested configuration alterations, so any pointers on how to resolve and move on greatly appreciated.
