Hi
I set up a SBS2008 server a number of years ago, and to give a fail safe to the clients I managed to get it to give the router IP 192.168.1.1 to all the clients as a secondary DNS. My theory was if the server failed/dns failed the workstations could still get access to the internet, so some work could be doe (as I am not a full time employee, just a consultant).
I can't remember how I did this. I want to do it with SBS2011
Essentially my goal is as part of the DHCP settings given to the workstations, obviously the Primary DNS is the Server 192.168.16.2, however I want to pass a secondary DN to them, ether the router or an internet DNS
How do I do that?
Tris
