SBS 2011 Standard 64 bit was installed in our office back in January. Since then whenever you try to search for a file from a desktop it searches the entire server which slows all other functions down. We added libraries in Windows Explorer at the desktop and tried to perform a search from there but it comes up with nothing even though we know that folder contains the search criteria. The only way to get any results is if it searches the entire server. This is causing a real issue with performance and has locked up the pc that is performing the search along with others in the office.
