SBS 2011 RRAS stops network connectivity to server

Hi, I have an SBS SP1 server on which I want to enable VPN access. Previously an old ISA 2006 server was infront and handled the VPN acces - however we have removed this and replaced it with a CISCO router which will allow VPN protocols to be passed through the firewall and directed to the SBS server IP address. The SBS server has only one NIC enabled.

When I enable RRAS either independly or using the Internet Connection Wizard it stops network connectivity to the SBS server from all other computers on the network. The root issue appears to be "The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows could not authenticate to the Active Directory service on a domain controller. (LDAP Bind function call failed). Look in the details tab for error code and description." which means DNS and DHCP etc do not work.

How do I correct this? Am I correct in think RRAS on SBS 2011 should only have one NIC enabled - previously on SBS 2003 I used 2 NICs had RRAS working.

Thanks
