It seems that the update has caused an issue in 'CompanyWeb' which manifestid itself as failed VSS Backups.
The errors found in Event Log are: Windows Sharepoint Services 3 ID 3760 and ID 5586.
Found some info relating to similar issue, and also ran PSConfig ( SBS2008 path). Still problems with failed PSConfig.
When trying to run 'Sharepoint Products and Technologies Wizard' I get : An IIS web site by the name of Sharepoint Central Administration v3 already exists on this server.............. and get no further.
Backup now seems to work ( with sbsmonitoring DB stopped and a re boot) and all VSS Writers now in a 'Stable ' State
....##SSEE is running and I can connect to it, but 'Sharepoint_Config_' database is in 'Single User' Restricted Access.
When browsing to 'Companyweb' i get :
Cannot connect to the configuration database.
As far as I know the 'CompanyWeb' is not currently used and has no content. So how can I get Sharepoint/CompanyWeb operational again?
