Environment: HP Proliant ML110G7 SBS2011 with 16GB of RAM Intel G840 CPU (2.8GHz)
Issue: When a Poison message is detected, Exchange pretty much stops functioning. We cannot send or receive emails, cannot view messages in any queue including the Poison queue and cannot remove the messages. This is both through the Toolbox and through EMS.
The Transport service fails to restart (stays at Stopping) and the process must be manually ended. If we then start the process, we get some emails through before all stops again.
I tried removing all messages in the poison queue through EMS but this also crashes. EMS sits at prompt, as though it is trying to work through the command.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to try?
I have now set the Transport Server to not detect poison messages to try and keep things functional for now.
