Hello,
My server backups have have worked properly for over a year and a few days ago stopped working with the error:
There is not enough disk space to create the volume shadow copy on the storage unit etc.
I did not find any errors in the event viewer that were not there before the failure.
At the time I figured my external 1TB drives were simply too full and I purchased a 2 TB to replace. However the problem persisted. So, I started checking on the Technet and determined the problem may be on my Server drive. I cleared out as much of drive C: as I could backing up and deleting older IIS logs etc. But I still have the issue. So, I have attached my Disk Management window screenshot to see if I can get some advise/insight (note: The drives labelled "backup" are not included in my backup job). I was trying to do full system backup plus my drive F: (data)
Also, I an attempt to remedy, I removed the 2 1TB drives from my backup set, leaving only the 1 2TB drive in place. I actually thought I was creating a seperate backup job, but i found that I was modifying the one I use. Can these be added back without incident, or will the backup utility reformat them, with me losing the backup data on them?
