We have client who already setup SBS 2011 Standard. Due to his employee growth (More than 100), He has to go with Windows server 2008 (R2) and Exchange 2010 with 100 licenses. We proceed with following steps.
(1) Install Windows server 2008 (R2) on the new server.
(2) Make member of domain
(3) Assign as domain controller in the same domain.
(4) install Exchange 2010 on R2
(5) Moved all mailboxes from SBS to Win Server 2008 R2
(6) All clients are joining to the new server.
We have shared data (map drives) on th SBS which company is using at present.
(1) Do we have to uninstall Exchange from SBS or We can disable Exchange 2010 services. What should be the next steps
(2) can we keep shared folders on the SBS and let them use?
