Outlook 2010 connects to a SBS 2011 in a Local Network over http

Hello everyone, i am new here, as you can imagine i have a problem with a sbs 2011 in combination with outlook 2010 in a network.

1 year ago there was a sbs 2003 who got migrated into a sbs 2011 (with the ms migration wizard)

the clients in the network had office 2003 installed, now the client software got updated to office 2010, at the beginning everything worked fine, i spotted that the option "connecto to exchange over http" was activated (automatically). at the beginning at some users, later everywhere. thats bad because i am in a local network and DO NOT want to connect over http, the problem is when i uncheck the option it activates itself within a few restarts of outlook. you can see literally whe option checked because when you change the folders in the structure it takes much longer with the option checked (of course)... so i researched a little bit, found out that the rpc service should be startet (it was not on the server), but the problem persisted... i should start outlook with the flag /rpcdiag -> no errors at all... the last thing was i have network problems because this option should be "auto-sensing"... but the network is fine... so are here any experts who know how i can turn off this option constantly?

thank you

reinhard
