Hi All
I need some help with active directorys design . I have a senario where I have to org units in different locations joined by VPN . Org Unit 1 maybe considered the parent and Org Unit 2 the child. Org Unit 1 has a windows 2011 Small Business Server and Org Unit 2 has SMB 2011 essentials server .
The main requirement is both orgs should be able to work independently normally should the VPN fail (ect login and use local resources and internet) yet be able to share resources freely between the two orgs when the VPN is up. My main skill set is coding so Im a bit new to this so could someone give me some starting suggestions or pointers on the best place to start.
