SBS 2011 repair not finding OS or backups

I am trying to understand the process to restore a SBS 2011 server that had the system reserved partition corrupted (RAW).  I have tried the following:

1. Clone disk (acronis true image 2013) - failed because system reserved partition corrupted
2. Repair with install disk -> repair -> from image - failed because of system reserved partition and then could not find the backup
3. Repair with install disk -> set system reserved to active using diskpart
4. Repair using windows 7 install disk -> repair startup - just failed

Questions:

1. Are there any other options for restoring?
2. Why would backup drive not show in repair console (my passport 750gb)?
3. Can I install a clean install of SBS 2011 and then restore from backup?
