Hi.
I've got SBS 2011 Standard, and see the following error in my daily status update just about every day:
Event Details:
VssAdmin: Unable to create a shadow copy: Either the specified volume was not found or it is not a local volume. Command-line: ''C:\Windows\system32\vssadmin.exe Create Shadow /AutoRetry=15 /For=\\?\Volume{d05be8a6-cf23-11e0-9607-782bcb3460e9}\''.
When I dig into Event Viewer, I notice that this error seems to occur twice a day, always at 7:00 AM and then again at Noon.
When I do "vssadmin list volumes" on the server, the referenced volume doesn't appear.
Can anyone suggest how to identify the volume being referenced and correct this error?
Many thanks.
Joe
