We had to move the databases for SharePoint to free up disk space on the server and used the SBS console wizard to perform the operation.
Near the end of the transfer an error appeared declaring that the transfer process had stopped working and to close the program. Following that a check on the newly created folder showed little data was there and SharePoint had of course stopped working
– no page error 403. We restarted the server and began a restore from Backup which was successful. Here’s the problem: We thought the backup would restore the data to the original location, but it didn’t – it restored it all to the new location.
How can we verify where SBS and SharePoint believe the data to be displayed? Where can we verify the paths?
There are load of SharePoint errors occurring during the failed transfer stage but since reboot nothing except this one:

The Windows Database service is running Ok It could be a simpler problem but we don’t know. Ideas anyone?
