A few days ago I stopped receiving my usual SBS Detailed Network Report. I checked to see if they were being generated at all in the Windows SBS Console and the last one available there is a few days old. I tried generating one manually but it just works and works without ever sending anything out.
Something that might be related (I really have no idea): For the last few days I've been getting a lot of errors in the event log about "A timeout (90000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the WSearch service." Event 7011, Service Control Manager. I don't know if these problems started at the same time but they did start within a few days of each other at most.
I've been doing a lot of searching for solutions for both these problems but have had no success for either. I followed steps in this Microsoft Technet article "Repair Monitoring and Reporting Features in Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard" (I can't insert a lnk) and did everything except attach the Windows SBS Monitoring database because Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (not 2010 as mentioned in the article) wouldn't let me.
Does anyone have any advice?
