We are in the middle of a migration from SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 Essentials. The migration went fine for the DC and we demoted the SBS 2003 server in the hopes of decommissioning it. Unfortunately, our final migration step was to move a sql server
based app from the old SBS 2003 server to the SBS 2011 server and we're running into some issues migrating the app to the new SBS 2011. We need no more than 2-3 days to complete the app migration. It's s SQL Server issue we're trying to contend
with and we're hoping to complete the migration properly within the next few days.
Is there a way to prevent the unexpected shutdowns until we get the app migrated. The app is mission-critical and everytime the server goes down, they get kicked out of the legacy app.
