I have been trying to get IE9 group policies to work on a SBS 2011 Standard server for a client. I have added Hotfix 2530309 to the server, I have gone under User Configuration/Policies/Windows Settings/Scripts and changed the InternetSettings.xml max="10.0.0.0".
I still cannot get the Group Policy settings I make in User Configuration/Preferences/Control Panel Settings/Internet Settings/Internet Explorer 8 to work with IE9 on Windows 7 Pro workstations and Windows 2012 Remote Desktop logged into this Domain.
Is there some other setting that needs to be made to get this to work. The only thing the client wants is to have another tab for their internet company site to open along with the intranet site when a user opens IE9. I have this added to the General Tab/Home
page in a seperate line in the Internet Explorer 8 Properties.
