SBS2008 Information Store Problems

Hi,

I have a client who's SBS server has a problem with exchange. Outlook clients will not update, they bjust get stuck on "Updating this folder" If i restart the Information Store Service (this i have to do by stopping the service and then killing the store.exe process as it will not stop on its own) then once users restart their Outlook client everything updates but in a few hours it happens again. If i switch users away from cached mode, Outlook does not open (or at least after 15 minutes I gave up)

Server is a Fujitsu TX100 S2 running SBS 2008, Quad Core Xeon 2.40GHz, 8GB RAM

There aer probably around 10-15 users connecting to exchange at any one time

The server also runs Blackberry Enterprise Server Express version (which i have disabled as part of my troubleshooting)

While the outlook clients are not updating, access emails via OWA is working fine.

I am not seeing any logs in Application/System to suggest anything is hung and am at a bit of a loss to explain what is going on.

Can anyone offer any first steps i can try to see if I can figure out what is at fault here.
