We have SBS 2011 Essentials setup as part of a simple workgroup. The server itself keeps going to sleep after a certain amount of inactivity. It is mainly being used as a file server.
I tried to go to the power options, (i.e. control panel/Hadware/power options), but the option "Change when the computer sleeps" is not there. I even checked under "Change plan settings", but it is not there either.
How do I ensure that SBS (i.e. Windows Small Business Server 2011) does not go to sleep or hibernate on me? If this is not an option, how can I keep it awake on an automated fashion?
Any help would be appreciated.
