I have a 2008 SBS Windows server that appears to have an expired security certificate for the internal webserver. I do not understand why it has even expired. It was originated 05/28/09 and shows it expired 05/28/11. This despite the
parent certificate having a 5 year period to 05/28/14. Since we do not use the internal web server, I revoked the expired certificate to test effect. No change but I cannot unrevoke it either. We use hosted Exchange and everytime my users
open Outlook now, they get the Security Alert pertaining to the exxpired certificate. How can I easily eliminate this nuisance notice. I would extend or reissue the certificate if there was an apparent method to do so. These appear to have
been automatically created when the server was originally set up. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. I have screenshots of the alert and certificate credentials that I can forward as requested. Thanks.
