How to reverse SBS 2011 upgrade

Today I installed a 2011 SBS Standard server for a client.

The problem is that it got about 99% through the migration wizard and then failed right as the wizard was ending and the desktop was being created. When I open the SBS console I see an error under view installation issues. All it says is "The installation of Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard cannot finish" and the Status is Active. If I click on the "How do I fix this issue" link, it just takes me to a help page that tells me to check the logs for errors. Then it tells me to reformat the partition and restart the installation.

I checked all the log files and see no errors. So my question is, can I really format the hard drive and restart the installation again? It looks like AD is already on the new server and when I go to the old ADUC on the 2003 server I can see that the FSMO roles have all be moved to the new SBS 2011 server and I have no way to move them back. When I look at the Operations master setting it says "ERROR".

At this point it does not look safe to reformat and reinstall SBS 2011 on the new server unless I am willing to destroy my current AD and just start over from scratch. I sure hope I'm wrong. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
