We have a server on life support right now and are shopping for a new server. Currently we are running SBS 2008 on a Dell Powerpoint SC430 tower with no hardware upgrades (hardware specs found here http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/pe430sc/en/ug/x9789aa0.htm)
We are a small company with about 20 active users. Most of the time we have about 12 active at one time. We run exchange, a fax server, a sales/inventory software, and Quickbooks is accessed from this server and thats about it. I was hoping to get advice on what kind of minimums we would need if we keep this setup and start running SBS 2011? We are a small company so I ask this because budget is important to us. Is there a good server we could get for $3000 or under?
